Spinning Gold Coaching

Are you a mature woman who is ready to create something new and important in your life? As your coaching partner I will support and encourage you to bring forward the skills and experiences of the life you have already lived to plan for a future that is uniquely and spectacularly your own.

Coaching Credentials:
  • Graduate of the Coaches Training Institute
  • Member, Austin, Texas chapter of the ICF
Other Experience and Expertise:
  • Thirty-five years experience as a psychotherapist and mediator in private practice, including seven years as a family court mediator and Statewide Coordinator of the Vermont Family Court Mediation Program
  • Experienced project manager with not-for-profit agencies
  • Published author and workshop leader throughout the U.S. on issues of concern for women
  • Master's degrees in Community Education and Psychology
Coaching Style, Philosophy, or Specialty:
"She believed she could... so she did" sums up my philosophy about coaching. The focus of my work for many years has been to help women make peace with painful issues of past experience, including those involving divorce, death, violence and serious health problems.

As a coach I help women believe that they can by drawing upon the strength and knowledge gained through their own life experiences to create a future that reflects their wisdom and their dreams. This is the process I call spinning gold.
Types of Clients or Situations:
My clients are women over age 50 who are ready to bring about significant changes in their lives. Many have experienced success in their lives as professional and business women, artists, writers and homemakers who seek support and encouragement to bring about a change that is both difficult and important.
Services and Format:
I coach individually, by telephone and in person, in Middlebury, Vermont and Austin, Texas in two to four scheduled 45-minute sessions. Initially, clients are asked to make a ten-session commitment.
Fee Structure:
The cost for individual coaching is $200 - $400/month, depending on the number of scheduled sessions. The initial session is free.
