Leaping Through Change with Lea Belair
"Change is a fearsome thing, like diving into water. And
yet it's exhilarating - because you aren't controlling it. You
are only the medium in which the patterns come to life and their
own accord give birth to something new." - Christopher Alexander
from A Timeless Way of Building
Lea Belair was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived and traveled
throughout the world. She packed up her life in the White Mountains
of New Hampshire and moved to the Green Mountain State in 2001,
after falling in love with a Vermont native.
In her 30's, a wife and a mother with two small children, Belair
felt she was living the good life, but wondered if there was
more to life and where and when she would find her bliss. It
wasn't until working at a New Age publication that she bumped
into the teachings of Eastern mysteries and was introduced to
what she calls the "Vision of Oneness." She spent the
next twenty years traveling back and forth between the heart
of the Himalayas and the U.S, deeply immersed in the study and
practice of Yoga Science, Vedanta philosophy, and theory and
practice of meditation.
Belair found more than the answer she was looking for when all
the pieces finally fit together and she stumbled upon the profession
of coaching. She applied her experiences from the East,
her background in writing, management, consulting and hypnotherapy
into a formula that is an effective tool for her clients who
are entrepreneurs, movers & shakers, and professionals in
the midst of change.
With seven years in the coaching profession, Belair is the first
PCC - Professional Certified Coach in the state of Vermont, a
designation she received from the International Coaching Federation.
She is a Certified Mentor Coach and Community Coach for CoachVille,
the largest coaching organization in the world, and the owner
of Leap Coaching, working primarily out of her home in Westford.
"I coach people who think big and are ready to take the leap
into what's next!" Belair says. She calls herself a "Change Agent" and
is dedicated to helping her clients thrive in change vs. just
coping. Belair has just launched her first book, Walk on
Water: How to Make Change Easier , where she shares techniques
and experiences to help readers change their perspective through
a process of personal evolution.
Several teleclasses based on the material in Walk on Water are
available to support people in putting this wisdom to work in
their lives: one for people who are reinventing themselves or
starting over, one for professionals who want to work smarter,
and one centered on wellness and a larger experience of life. There
will also be "the whole enchilada," where all the material in
the book will be covered.
